FINALLY.
It’s that time of year to accept memberships for the 2015 season. We are SO excited for another year to do what we love, growing veggies for our fellow North Dakotans!
Please visit our CSA page to sign-up and get all the details. This year we have decided to offer online payments through Square, instead of Paypal. It offers a more user-friendly approach and makes online payments even smoother.
You’ll notice we have 3 different sizes (same as last year) and 3 different payment plans: Pay in Full, Half Now / Half Later, and Monthly.
We will be delivering to Jamestown (Mondays), Bismarck (Thursdays), and Hazen (Thursdays); at this point the pick-up locations should remain the same, but are subject to change.
Returning members: you may also notice we’ve change the pick-up times a bit, so please take note.
If you sign up for a payment plan (Half Now/Half Later or Monthly) you will be billed accordingly for the follow up payment(s). Please, please reach out to us if you have any questions or you may also refer to the Membership Agreement for further explanation.
As we finish up the necessities in the house, we will quickly transition to farm mode and we are THRILLED for season TWO!
FARGO FOLKS.
Last season we spread ourselves too thin. We had 4 different drop-off locations within 3 days all strung together (with the exception of a break on Wednesdays). It was too much. Not just for us, but for the vegetables. The arrangement didn’t allow for enough time in between pick and pack days, which meant the variety or quantity wasn’t always to the standards we hoped for all members and all locations.
It also meant a constant rush and driving all over the state (big gas expenses). We anticipated it would be a tough season, but we wanted to give it a try. We didn’t have quite enough members last year to make our 3-hour roundtrip (gas and time) worth it economically. And with our move to Streeter, we are now an extra hour away from Fargo, making our commute a 4-hour roundtrip, instead of 3.
With that said, we will unfortunately not be delivering to the Fargo/Moorhead area this season. Numbers wise, we weren’t coming out ahead and as much as we wish we could supply to anyone and everyone, we’re still operating a business and need to do what makes sense.
We are so sad to have to do so and hope our past Fargo members understand. This is not to say we’ll never supply the area again, but for 2015 it just doesn’t work out. We are so grateful for the support received from the F/M community in 2014 – thank you to those members!
